Accessibility statement

How we build and test this website so everyone can use it, what isn't perfect yet, and how to tell us about a barrier.

Last updated 8 October 2026 · MomentumOS Inc.

1. Our commitment

MomentumOS Inc. wants www.momentumos.ca to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen magnification, voice control or captions, and people who are sensitive to motion.

This statement covers this website, www.momentumos.ca. The MomentumOS App at app.momentumos.ca is a separate application and is not covered here.

2. The standard we follow

We build and test this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2 includes and goes beyond WCAG 2.0 Level AA, the level that Ontario’s accessibility standards under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) refer to.

For a plain-English introduction, see our articles on what WCAG 2.2 means for local businesses and where accessibility and SEO overlap.

4. What we’ve done

  • Readable text. Text has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background, and form fields have a visible border with at least 3:1 contrast.
  • Keyboard access. Every link, menu, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard. A “Skip to main content” link comes first on every page, focus is always visible, and the sticky header never covers the item in focus.
  • Structure. Pages use real headings, lists, landmarks and form labels, and the page language is set to English (Canada), so assistive technology can describe them accurately.
  • Text alternatives. Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and the illustrated phone and website mock-ups are described in words. Purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • Reflow and zoom. Pages reflow to a 320-pixel-wide screen without sideways scrolling, and text can be enlarged to 200%. The only exception is a few wide price tables, which scroll sideways on small screens and can be focused and scrolled with a keyboard.
  • Motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the home page’s animations don’t play. Otherwise, a “Pause animations” button at the top of the home page stops them, and your choice is remembered on that device. Nothing on the site flashes.
  • Forms. Every form field has a visible label, required fields are marked, and fields that ask for your name, email or phone number support your browser’s autofill.
  • Touch targets. Buttons and links are large enough, or spaced far enough apart, to tap reliably.
  • Consistent help. Our contact details appear in the same place, at the foot of every page.

5. How we test

On 8 October 2026, every page of this website passed automated testing with axe-core 4.10 against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules, at three screen widths: 1280, 375 and 320 pixels. We also checked by hand what automated tools can’t measure on their own, such as text over gradients and the animation controls.

Automated testing finds many problems, but not all of them. We have not yet completed a full manual audit with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver. Until we have, we can’t promise that every part of the site works perfectly with every assistive technology, and we welcome your help in finding anything we’ve missed.

6. Known limitations

  • Illustrations. The phone screens and example client websites are pictures of the product, not working pages. Their small text is part of the picture; what each one shows is described in words for screen-reader users.
  • Wide tables. On narrow screens, some price tables scroll sideways instead of reflowing.
  • Linked sites. Pages we link to on other websites, such as survey publishers and Google, are outside our control.

7. Tell us about a barrier

If something on this website doesn’t work for you, or you’d like information from it in another format, such as large print or plain text, please contact us. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and, if you can, the device and assistive technology you use.

We aim to reply within five business days. Where we can’t fix a problem straight away, we’ll give you the information or service another way in the meantime.

8. Compatibility

The website is built with standard HTML and CSS, with JavaScript for the menus, animations and the trial form. It is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on desktop and mobile, and with the assistive technologies that work with them. The pages’ content stays readable if JavaScript is turned off.
